Back on track
It looks like we are probably back on track to travel to China in Oct-Nov. It is my goal(dream) to be home for Thanksgiving. However, at the beginning of the year things were happening at a slow pace over in China and it looked like the wait would be longer than expected. Our paperwork (dossier) was accpeted and logged in China on Sept. 19, 2001 (our "DTC" date) and at that time the best guess was travel would be 13 months (Oct/Nov 2002) from that date. Well, everyone who is adopting from China follows very closely the paperwork of those ahead of you and at the beginning of this year the travel dates were starting to slip ever so slightly back and we got freaked out...what if we travel in Dec? Jan? UGH!! Well, things are now back on track as the people with DTC of April 01 are staring to make plans for travel. And it looks like China might be making an effort to get the paperwork done even quicker than normal (OK, this is probably pure optimism on my part but what the heck). So we are back on schedule...we think!

Race For the Cure
Thanks to everyone who helped us this year. Thanks to you the "Bald Ambition Tour" was a great success. We now have some pictures up if you want to check them out. Thanks again, we will do it again next year! Hopefully, Tait can push his baby sister in the stroller next year.

Still living high off of the feeling of the Race for the Cure.(and a break from chemotherapy!) A friend took some awesome pictures and it just shows me again how lucky i am to have so many people supporting me. On Saturday,we attended a birthday party for a friend of mine who has a three year old. We all had a blast, the kids bounced themselves into exhaustion and the Spurs won. Can't get much better than that! We did some random yard work again this weekend. Getting ready for Tait's big pirate bash for his fifth birthday. We are going to pushing for another weekend of good weather. Life is good as my nails are growing out (very slowly) and i am getting small sprouts of hair. It is the little things in life i enjoy the most :) looking forward to fiesta in San Antonio.
