no barfing
It was a good morning, no barfing, just a bit of a chemo hangover! Nothing MC'D's couldn't fix with a greasy breakfast. Got Tait off to school and to see his program at school. My heart was beaming with pride as he sang his patriotic songs, did the hand motions and participated in the Olympic relays. He really is a great kid. Off for a nap while Jaden naps and ready for round two as Tait steps off the bus at 3:00.

cleaning up
Je left for a conference today and i am trying my hand at being a single parent. Whew, not a job i would take on willingly and it is only my first night! OK, being in the twilight zone after chemo makes it a bit more challenging! Tait and i are in the process of organizing his toys. I told him i would throw away anything that we could not find a home for and he got really motivated to help. We are on our fourth container for his dinosaurs. how can one child have so many dino's? better yet, why does one child need so many dino's???? we have a box of bugs and other crawly things and two containers of cars. If this were a TOY STORY movie, the dino's would be parading around the room on the cars! Better get some sleep, Tait has a program at school tomarrow that i am going to see. Without Je here it will be my job to get him dressed, fed, teethbrushed and rid of bed head to catch the bus by 6:55. my prayer: please don't let me wake up nasueas!

Happy Mother's Day
A late Happy Mother's Day to all those Mom's out there. What a wonderful and challenging job we have. This family had a great day and this Mom feels so blessed to be here for another celebration with her family. When Tait was 15 months old and i was diagnosed with cancer, i prayed that God would keep me here to see him through kindergarten. Well, here it is May of his kinder year and i am asking for Him to continue using me through Tait's elementary years. i pray for better looks but don't push that issue! Each day that i get a smile, a hug or a little hand inside my own is a blessing. I also just had all my tests run to check on cancer growth and all look good. i am on my way to the next five years!
