summer fun The summer is already in full swing around here. We have celebrated the end of school, our 7th anniversary and my in-laws 35th anniversary. JE and i had a nice weekend at the lake for our anniversary while the grandparents kept the kids. We got a great deal done at the lake house. We finished most of the painting, shampooed the carpet, fixed screens on both back doors, mowed our yard and the lots next door and even had time for a romantic swim and dinner with a sunset at the site where we met 9 years ago. Gosh, we were productive people before we had kids!! About Saturday night, when we started to slow down, we sure started missing those kids! This past Saturday night we celebrated 35 years with my in-laws with lobster, tenderloin and too many margaritas. We shared stories about our own weddings. interesting information. We did not make it to the two youngest married couple, i am still waiting to hear their memories! We missed you Willace and Liz but our thoughts and prayers are with you today.
We are off for another week of swim lessons. Tait is a regular fish. He is working on his freestyle and his backstroke. When we went to Sea World the other day we saw the Viva show with lots of fancy swimming and diving. He said "Mom, i think they all went to swim America too!" (that is the name of his swim lessons) i cracked up, i guess everyone does have to start somewhere.
