interesing conversation I had an interesting conversation with my son in the car the other day. He asked "Mommy, where is Jaden's Mommy?" i said "i am right here. i am Mommy to you and Jaden." "No Mommy where is the Mommy that 'birthed her?'" i said "she is in China probably missing her baby but was forced to give her up by rules made in their country." i continued, "being a Mommy means more than just 9 months in a tummy and birth it means loving and taking care of a baby as they grow." "A Mom is there through the everyday laughing, crying and loving while making a kid into a good person." "Mommy and Daddy love you and Jaden because you are our son and daughter and God trusted in us to have you and mold you into his light." Silence, he stares out the window, content with the information he has received. Whew, i knew there would be questions, just not so soon and not from him. i suppose it is good practice for later! It is neat how he takes information in 6 year old tid-bit size! boy how both my kids can warm my heart. After meeting JE i did not think i could love someone more but i just seem to be bursting with love!

trip to the dentist
"i like to brush my own teeth!" this is what Tait said about going to the dentist. he was quite reserved about going this time. Jaden watched him in that chair with wide eye saying his name over and over. There were a few times i saw his lips quivering. I don't know if he wanted to cry or throw up! He survived and got two stickers and a toy. i wish i got that when i went to the dentist.
