God Bless America - Dori Update Just a quick note on Dori, she has been home since Monday and is doing great. Last night she went with me to a little work-related social function and she did fine. It was nice to finally go out together and have a good time.
We are almost all set for our annual fun-filled fourth. We head to the lake Friday afternoon and get to stay until Monday. We will have various family members in and out all weekend and it should be real fun. With all the rain the grass and plants there should be green and lush-a rare sight at this time of year. Forecast is for hot/humid days! I just hope the water is clean and we can swim this time. At any rate God Bless Dori and God Bless the USA!!

Home Today Dori SHOULD be home today right after lunch. This morning she gets a "pick line" in her right arm. Basically it is a temporary port that they can use to draw blood and give her antibiotics until she gets a new mediport. I was able to see her last night and she's feeling pretty good and seems to be in good spirits. Thanks to everyone who has offered help and beware..we may start to use some of those offers soon!
