back from the lake
Grandma Morris and I spent a week at the lakehouse with Jaden 3, Jacob 6, Tait 8, and Taylor 10 while they attended an outdoor christian daycamp for the week. Jaden stayed home with us as the big kids headed off the do lots of outdoor activities and grow in their walk with God. We prepared meals, cooked and cleaned and prepared for the kids return while they were gone. Being around that many kids gives be an appreciation for mom's who have more than two kids! When the kids returned home we had activities planned to keep them busy like building a fire to make smores, riding the "jumbo dog," picking blackberries at the berry farm and of course, swimming everyday. Everybody had a good time and we were all exhausted by the end of the week. In the middle of the week JE came back up to Marble Falls to celebrate our ninth anniversary. We went to eat at the resturant where he proposed to me. We had great conversation, yummy food and a beautiful view of the lake. I realize once again how lucky i am to be married to him. A big thanks to Granma Morris for being brave enough to stay with all the kids!
