Today we meet with Dori's hospice for the first time. They will be sending us some things to make life easier for Dori, like a shower chair, bed tray and things like that. They will also take over her care from here on out and focus on pain managment and giving her everything that she needs. Dori trys to stay as "with it" as she can during the day, but she does need her medicine to help with the pain so sometimes she can be a little out of it. She is still in real good spirits and even felt good enough to eat pizza with me and kids tonight. We are looking forward to this new experience with hospice and feel good that things are going so well.
